Our History:

In the face of several patient safety issues, we developed the concept of Interventional Informatics as a mechanism to proactively identify at-risk patients opening a time for potential intervention.  Though not a full cure for the issues at hand, this approach served as a rapid response while process and quality teams evaluated and corrected systems in order to prevent these potential harms.  At its heart, Interventional Informatics is an innovative approach to remote patient monitoring that improves patient safety, ensures best practice medicine and enhances performance measures.  Computerized alerts are augmented by off-floor human skills in medical informatics and clinical medicine to allow few to protect many in a cost effective manner.
